Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) Notice

This notice is provided pursuant to the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 541, effective July 1, 2024. It applies to Texas residents who interact with GIR Appliance Repair.

• Payment information: Processed securely through third-party payment processors (we do not store card numbers)
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (collected via Google Analytics)

• Sending appointment confirmations and service reminders
• Processing payments
• Improving our website and services
• Complying with legal obligations

Data Retention

We retain customer service records for up to 5 years for warranty and business purposes. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default settings (26 months).
